21/06/24 - First single released from "In the Twilight" album!
The first single has been released from soprano Cassandra Wright's debut album "In the Twilight". It is an honour to have been the pianist for the album, which features works by Barber, Marx, Grieg, Debussy, and Korngold. Click here to listen to Barber's "Sure on this shining night" and to pre-save the full album which releases on the 19th of July under Linn Records as part of The Royal Academy of Music Bicentenary Series.

25/04/24 - Wigmore Hall/Bollinger International Song Competition
Delighted to have been put through to the live rounds of the Wigmore Hall/Bollinger International Song Competition with bass-baritone Michael Ronan. The live rounds begin on the 7th of September at Wigmore Hall.

15/04/24 - Wigmore Hall Debut Recital Next Month
Looking forward to making my Wigmore Hall debut recital this time next month! I will be performing a pair of Wagner/Liszt transcriptions after being joined in the first half by the sublime soprano Liv Redpath for some Strauss and Debussy songs. Many thanks to my teacher Joanna MacGregor CBE and the Royal Academy of Music for putting this on. Hope to see you there!

20/11/23 - South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol's State Visit and 140th Anniversary of Korea-UK Diplomatic Relations
It was an honour to perform alongside soprano Haegee Lee and tenor David Junghoon Kim for the State Visit of Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Keon-hee. I also had the pleasure to perform at Hampton Court Palace with Haegee in front of 250 Ambassadors and guests for the 140th Anniversary of Korea-UK Diplomatic Relations.

10/06/23 - Dialogues des Carmélites Glyndebourne Reviews
My time as répétiteur for Glyndebourne’s Dialogues des Carmélites (directed by Barrie Kosky, conducted by Robin Ticciati) is over. Very happy that the show is getting numerous 5 star reviews! It is an incredible production, backed up by a spectacular cast and orchestra - a production that will last long in the memory.

21/04/23 - Kathleen Ferrier Competition Results
Thrilled to have won the Help Musicians Accompanist's Prize at the 2023 Kathleen Ferrier Awards Competition. Huge congrats to the other performers, especially my singer George Curnow for winning 2nd Prize! Very grateful to Help Musicians, the Ferrier Awards, and the panel members for a wonderful experience.

15/02/23 - Obscurus Now Available to Pre-Order
Lucy Humphris' debut album Obscurus featuring me is now available to pre-order! Releasing through Rubicon, the CD is an exploration of the obscured, in a programme showcasing some of the most incredible trumpet writing of the 20th and 21st century, as well as several reimaginings of older, more mainstream works for other instruments, arranged by Lucy. Releases on March 31st and will be available to stream through all digital platforms.

19/12/22 - 200 Pieces Royal Academy of Music Launch
As part of its Bicentenary celebrations, the Royal Academy of Music embarked on an ambitious project, inviting 200 composers to write 200 new works for solo instrument or voice. The recordings and scores for these works, written for every principal study instrument taught at the Academy, are now available, creating a new library of varied contemporary works by many of the world’s leading composers. I had the pleasure of premiering 5 recordings of pieces written by Augusta Thomas Read, Freya Wales-Cohen, Thomas Simaku, Philip Cashian, and Keting Sun. Click here to have a listen!

I had the joy of accompanying Nardus Williams for a Glyndebourne Organ Room Session this month. She is playing Countess Almaviva in the Tour 2022 production of The Marriage of Figaro, and will return to Glyndebourne for the Festival 2023 staging of L’elisir d’amore as Adina. Here we perform 'Prendi per me sei libero' from L'elisir d'amore.
